Microsoft Fabric Extensibility Toolkit

FabricAnvil is built on the Microsoft Fabric Extensibility Toolkit, which reached General Availability in March 2026. It is a certified native workload that appears in the Fabric Workloads hub.

Data residency

All data processed by FabricAnvil remains within your Microsoft Fabric tenant. No data is transmitted to external systems. Your governance state, audit trail, and workspace metadata stay in your own Fabric SQL Database.

Security

FabricAnvil uses On-Behalf-Of (OBO) token delegation from the Fabric host. No credentials are stored in code, notebooks, or environment files. All API calls are authenticated via the Fabric identity platform.

Compliance frameworks

FabricAnvil produces immutable audit evidence suitable for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and internal governance frameworks. Drift findings, steward reviews, and policy decisions are exportable as structured compliance artifacts.
